For many people a car is just a mode of transportation. Although some may turn their cars into full time show cars that does not stop some people from keeping it as a daily.

A great example is this scion TC owned by Mr Grant Wakefield, even with it being slammed super low to the ground it remained his daily. Once he arrived at the meeting location, we had to make sure he didn’t lose his lip or side skirts while entering the apartment complex. Even with angling he still took out a big chunk of concrete going over the speed bumps.IMG_7770 copyGrant has owned the car for over three years and like many car modifiers he had some plans that he decided not to go through with.
Originally he planned to boost the car but after 6-8 months of building up the suspension he decided against it. “I also took a break from modding but once I got back at it I changed my whole vision for the car, but things didn’t get serious until until February 2015”.

At this point Grant decided on going with a more aggressive stance for the car and started to get some custom parts made. There was a line up for all major show in florida for the year 2015 that grant decided he wanted o attend.
In 2016 he decided to change things up with a more aggressive set up and purchased a set of CCW’s. The new wheels were a bit more aggressive but Grant decided to lowered the car more and with the new ride height and fitment he made the decision to run swift springs for a stiffer ride.

Although Mr Grant is officially retiring the TC from the car show scene but it will still remain his semi-modded daily.
